| Descripción : | The object of this paper is to focus two of the many diagnosis about the end of the Cold War and the consequent development of what is now called globalization. After some years of those immediate and partial analyses, the evaluation of the ‘rights and wrongs’ of the time and what is still new and valid is the main interest. So, the trends used here comprehend the analysis of the world systems. Este artigo tem por objetivo tomar dois dentre alguns diagnósticos feitos sobre o fim da Guerra Fria e a conseqüente ascendência do que se chamou globalização. Passados alguns anos destas análises surgidas ainda no calor dos acontecimentos, interessa-nos tentar avaliar “erros e acertos”, o que “envelheceu” e o que permaneceu válido delas. Para tanto, as tendências aqui tratadas são constituídas pela análise dos sistemas mundiais, representada por Imanuel Wallerstein, e a chamada “escola da reflexividade”, representada por Anthony Giddens. |
