Descripción :	A literature study with the main objective to analyze the vitrification ovulate(egg freezing) as one of the techniques of assisted reproduction and clarify the role of Psychologists in these processes was performed. Analysis of the ovular vitrification was aimed at determining the characteristics and comparative advantages, to raise it as a (maternity insurance) “wise decision” and review the current status of vitrification ovulate and future prospects. The issue referred to the role of the Psychologist in assisted human reproduction examined the emotional impact that infertility spouses, the actions you can take the psychologist in this field, the need for specific academic training required professional psychologist in this field, the assessment tools are there, and finally the attitudes and values that the psychologist should be displayed in this context. The findings emphasized the importance and desirability of vitrificationovulate as assisted reproductive technology and the need Se realizó una investigación bibliográfica que tuvo como objetivo fundamental analizar la vitrificación ovular como una de las técnicas de la reproducción humana asistida y precisar el rol del psicólogo en estos procesos. Asimismo, el análisis de la vitrificación ovular se orientó a determinar sus características y sus ventajas comparativas, se busca plantearla como una “decisión inteligente” (en relación al seguro de maternidad) y revisar la situación actual de la vitrificación ovular, así como sus perspectivas futuras. Además, se tratará el tema referido al rol del psicólogo en la reproducción humana asistida, así como el impacto emocional que genera la infertilidad en los cónyuges, las acciones que puede asumir el psicólogo en este campo, la necesidad de una formación académica específica que requiere el profesional psicólogo en esta área, los instrumentos de evaluación con los que cuenta y, finalmente, las actitudes y valores que el psicólogo debe exhibir en este contexto.
