| dc.description | This work is a reflection on the university structure as the cradle of social transformations in postmodern society, and how the legalistic and normative structure influence the much-needed change of paradigms that are stagnant in the professional world and prevent an adequate approach. This phenomenon is analyzed using as a binding axis the concept of health linked for years to the currently hegemonic and colonial biomedical model, focused on disease and the subject-object relationship, and reflects on the imperative need to address this issue as a multidimensional social construct, historical, ideological and dynamic. Intertwined in the story is the paradigmatic change in the concept of health and the resistance that arises from the university itself, whose function is related to development and social well-being. A look that incorporates the complexity of the environment and its diversities, with an emphasis on local realities to promote health from the territory, considered in its broad sense in the training of professionals in higher education. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente trabajo es una reflexión respecto de la estructura universitaria como cuna de transformaciones sociales en la sociedad posmoderna, y de cómo la estructura legalista y normativa influyen en el tan necesario cambio de paradigma que se encuentran anquilosados en el mundo profesional, e impiden un adecuado abordaje. Se analiza este fenómeno usando como eje vinculante el concepto de salud, asociado por años al modelo biomédico actualmente hegemónico y colonial, centrado en la enfermedad y la relación sujeto-objeto, y reflexiona respecto de la imperiosa necesidad de abordar este tema como un constructo social multidimensional, histórico, ideológico y dinámico. Se entrelazan en el relato el cambio paradigmático del concepto de salud y la resistencia que se presenta de la propia universidad cuya función se relaciona con el desarrollo y bienestar social. Una mirada que incorpora la complejidad del entorno y sus diversidades, con acento en las realidades locales para favorecer una salud desde el territorio, considerado en su sentido amplio en la formación de los profesionales en la educación superior. | es-ES |
