| dc.description | Language is part of the symbolic universe of man, it shows the degree of culture and social development that defines him as a species. Its study deserves an interdisciplinary approach, since its importance transcends the spellings captured on paper or the articulation of sounds through syllables. From a philosophical perspective, language and consciousness are articulated to decode reality and lead man towards his historical development. From sociolinguistics, language is evaluated from its social uses, in the midst of the communicative interaction between different linguistic groups. This research highlights the importance of language teaching, however, leaving aside the normative and descriptive criteria that do not take into account social facts or the context in which learning takes place. The work does not pretend to establish a definitive position regarding the subject, on the contrary, it points towards the need to reinforce the teaching of language and to point out the value it has as an instrument of social transformation. | en-US |
| dc.description | El lenguaje forma parte del universo simbólico del hombre, evidencia el grado de cultura y de desarrollo social que le define como especie. Su estudio amerita un abordaje interdisciplinar, ya que su importancia trasciende las grafías plasmadas en un papel o la articulación de sonidos a través de silabas. Desde una perspectiva filosófica, lenguaje y conciencia se articulan para descodificar la realidad y conducir al hombre hacia su desarrollo histórico. Desde la sociolingüística, se evalúa el lenguaje desde sus usos sociales, en medio de la interacción comunicativa entre diversos grupos lingüísticos. Esta investigación resalta la importancia de la enseñanza de la lengua, empero, haciendo de lado los criterios normativos y descriptivos que no toman en cuenta los hechos sociales ni el contexto en el que se desarrollan los aprendizajes. El trabajo no pretende sentar una posición definitiva en cuanto el tema, por el contrario, apunta hacia la necesidad de reforzar la enseñanza del lenguaje y señalar el valor que tiene como instrumento de transformación social. | es-ES |
