dc.description	With Adriana Petryna book: Exposed Life: Biological Citizens after Chernobyl, biopolitical studies took a different course, accepting a new manifestation in the exercise of biopower: biocitizenship or biological citizenship. Based on the analysis carried out by the author of the tragedy that occurred in Chernobyl, a series of citizen demands arose that called into question the role of the State, the market, the institutions and the political practices of social control. . In this new theoretical horizon, the category of biocitizenship is analyzed, without losing sight of its origins in biopolitical studies, bringing this idea closer to theoretical conceptualizations typical of Latin American critical thought. For this reason, this papers  is oriented towards the consolidation of anti-hegemonic and anti-systemic identities that guide citizen praxis towards intercultural citizenship.	en-US
dc.description	Con el texto de Adriana Petryna: Life exposed: Biological citizens after Chernobyl, los estudios en materia biopolítica tomaron un rumbo diferente, al aceptar una nueva manifestación en el ejercicio del biopoder: la biociudadanía o ciudadanía biológica. A partir de las observaciones realizadas por la autora a la tragedia acontecida en Chernóbil, se  dio pie a una serie de demandas ciudadanas, que pusieron en tela de juicio el papel del Estado, del mercado, de las instituciones  y de las prácticas políticas de control social. En este nuevo horizonte teórico, se analiza la categoría de biociudadanía, sin perder de vista sus orígenes en los estudios biopolíticos, aproximando dicha idea a conceptualizaciones teóricas propias del pensamiento crítico latinoamericano. Por ello, este trabajo se encamina hacia la consolidación de identidades antihegemónicas y antisistémicas, que orienten la praxis social hacia la construcción de una ciudadanía intercultural.	es-ES
