dc.description	The antropocentric position has been hegemonic in Western philosophical debate, its aesthetics and its arts. This contrasts with the defense of interdependence among the realms of nature expressed in Indian tradition and reflected on their arts and aesthetics. The article relies on text belonging to the Vedic-upanisadic tradition to formulate an anthropomorphic cosmocentrism and supports this view with examples from Indian classical sculpture. The article will finally hold that according to Indian tradition the specificity of the human position is precisely the capacity to abandon any kind of centric position.	en-US
dc.description	La posición antropocéntrica ha sido hegemónica en el discurso filosófico occidental, en su estética y sus artes. Esto contrasta con la postulación de la interdependencia entre los reinos de la naturaleza que se encuentra en la tradición india y que se refleja asimismo en su tradición filosófica, en su estética y sus artes. El artículo propone un recorrido por los principales pasajes de la literatura védico-upaniṣádica para mostrar lo que denomina un antropomorfismo cosmocéntrico y trata de ilustrarlo con ejemplos de esculturas clásicas. Se defenderá que lo propio de lo humano es su capacidad para abandonar la posición céntrica.	es-ES
