| dc.description | The evident lack of interest for reading observed in our classrooms, leads to consider The Philosophy for Children’s Program (hereinafter PhFCh) as anaccepted pedagogical tool that allows to strengthen reading habits and philosophical understanding of the most relevant aspects of this program. However, these tools are not only designed for the teaching of Philosophy, but they are extended to other areas of human thought. The main object of this proposal is to explain the theoretical foundations that support The Philosophy for Children’s Program and how through its novels critical thinking is encouraged and reading in the classroom is promoted. | en-US |
| dc.description | La innegable falta de interés por la lectura observada en nuestras aulas, lleva a considerar el Programa de Filosofía para Niños y Niñas (en adelante FpNN) como una acertada herramienta pedagógica que permite fortalecer hábitos de lecturas y comprensión de los aspectos filosóficos más relevantes de este programa. Estas herramientas no solo están destinadas a la enseñanza de la filosofía, las mismas son extensivas a otras áreas del pensamiento humano. El objetivo de esta propuesta es explicar los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan el programa de Filosofía para Niños y Niñas y cómo a través de sus novelas se promueve e incentiva la lectura en los niños y se estimula el pensamiento crítico y creativo. | es-ES |
