dc.description	This article departs from the hypothesis that Nietzsche’s Ecce Homo is framed within a tradition that conceives philosophy as “spirituality” and “techne tou biou”, in the way Foucault understands these two notions. To prove this hypothesis, an analysis of the Pindaric-inspired phrase of the oeuvre’s subtitle is undertaken. Also, an inventory of the technologies of the self as indicated in the book is presented, and, lastly, the concepts of amor fati and the eternal return are examined in the text as well as the place of Cynicism in it.	en-US
dc.description	Este artículo parte de la hipótesis de que el Ecce homo de Nietzsche se enmarca en una tradición que concibe la filosofía como “espiritualidad” y como “techne tou biou”, entendiendo estas nociones según las expone Foucault. Para comprobar dicha hipótesis, se emprende un análisis de la frase de inspiración pindárica que subtitula la obra; asimismo, se realiza un inventario de las técnicas de vida que allí se señalan y, por último, se examinan los conceptos de amor fati y eterno retorno en el texto, así como el lugar que en él ocupa el cinismo.	es-ES
