En Cuba se observa con atención la relevancia que poseen las expresiones artísticas, entre ellas, la música, a tal grado, que se convierten en símbolos nacionales, además de ser parte de su patrimonio. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la contribución de los estudios feministas en el contexto de la educación musical. Asimismo, se caracterizará al feminismo y la educación musical como instrumentos de la educación. Se ha tomado en consideración para ello su estructura y los factores que intervienen en dicho proceso. Plantea, además, el aporte que desde el siglo pasado los estudios sobre el feminismo han realizado al campo musical, favoreciendo la configuración y fortaleza de diferentes disciplinas educativas.In Cuba, the relevance of artistic expressions, among them, music, is carefully observed to such a degree that they become national symbols, besides being part of its heritage. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the contribution of feminist studies in the context of music education. It will also characterize feminism and music education as instruments of education. Its structure and the factors involved in this process have been taken into consideration. It also presents the contribution that feminist studies have made to the musical field since the last century, favoring the configuration and strength of different educational disciplines.
