dc.descriptionThe present work aims to expose the main foundations of the critique of culture industry, carried out by Theodor Adorno in an essay of Dialectic of Enlightenment. To do that, we chose to present the most significant elements of his intellectual and aesthetic education in close relation to some central theoretical aspects of the text at hand. At first, the exposure is carried out by focusing on Adorno's historical context and some biographical information. Then, some of the philosophical assumptions of the essay are highlighted and related to the intellectual and aesthetic education of the philosopher. At last, the intention is that all the themes presented in this work form a constellation which reveals a significant and overall image of Adorno's critique of culture industry.en-US
dc.descriptionO presente trabalho tem como objetivo expor os principais fundamentos da crítica à indústria cultural, realizada por Theodor Adorno em um ensaio da Dialética do esclarecimento. Para tanto, optamos por apresentar os elementos mais significativos de sua formação intelectual e estética em íntima relação com alguns aspectos teóricos centrais do texto em questão. Em um primeiro momento, a exposição é realizada com foco no contexto histórico de Adorno e em algumas informações biográficas. Em seguida, alguns dos pressupostos filosóficos do ensaio são colocados em evidência e relacionados à formação intelectual e estética do filósofo. Por fim, a intenção é que todos os temas apresentados neste trabalho formem uma constelação que revele uma imagem geral e significativa da crítica de Adorno à indústria cultural.pt-BR
