Descripción :	This article aims to investigate the relations between Surrealism and the feminine by analyzing the representation of women in André Breton’s literary work Nadja (1928). The theoretical framework will be Sandra M. Gilbert and Susan Gubar’s The Madwoman in the Attic: the Woman Writer and the Nineteenth-Century Literary Imagination (1979). O presente artigo tem como objetivo investigar as relações entre o Surrealismo e o feminino, realizando, para tanto, uma análise da representação da mulher na obra literária Nadja (1928), de André Breton. No que diz respeito aos fundamentos teóricos, serão utilizadas as proposições de Sandra M. Gilbert e Susan Gubar presentes em The Madwoman in the Attic: the Woman Writer and the Nineteenth-Century Literary Imagination (1979).
