| Descripción : | The objective of this paper is to establish a link between the novel “The Figure in the Carpet” by the American author Henry James and Georges Perec’s Le Voyage d’hiver. Both texts are concerned in making the reader out of his usual zone of comfort and they both work with the mode we read, exposing usual reading habits and their problems. O objetivo deste artigo é o estabelecimento de pontos em comum entre a novela do escritor americano Henry James intitulada “O desenho do tapete” e de A viagem de inverno, texto do francês Georges Perec. Preocupados em fazer com que o leitor saia de sua habitual zona de conforto, os dois textos trabalham com o modo como lemos, expondo pressupostos de leitura habituais e seus problemas. |
