| Descripción : | Among Rimbaud’s first known texts, there is a school notebook written around 1866, the latin poems and the school works of translation. The interest of these texts lies in the fact that through them it is possible to identify and trace the first manifestation of certain motives and stylistic elements which, poetically reelaborated, will integrate Rimbaud’s great poems. In this article some examples of poetic recreation from early texts are provided, as an attempt to show the importance of pastiche in Rimbaud’s literary method.

Entre os primeiros textos conhecidos de Rimbaud, encontram-se um caderno escolar escrito por volta de 1866, os poemas latinos e os trabalhos escolares de tradução e versão. O interesse principal desses textos está, sobretudo, no fato de que, por meio deles, é possível identificar e rastrear a primeira manifestação de certos motivos e de certos elementos estilísticos que, re-elaborados poeticamente, vão integrar os grandes poemas de Rimbaud. Neste artigo, apresentamos alguns exemplos de recriação poética a partir de textos anteriores a fim de mostrar a importância do pastiche no processo de criação literária proposto por Rimbaud.
