| Descripción : | This article seeks to establish a relation between the poetics of Rameau’s Nephew and the satire genre. The hypothesis is that the text, by modifying some criteria of representation, breaks with the prevailing conventions of the genre during its time. We do not intend, though, to take, as a parameter, satire in abstractu, but to explore some uses and conceptions of this genre that are proper to the second half of the Eighteenth century, which will not be discussed exhaustively. We aim at bringing to the discussion some hegemonic and recurrent traits, in order to highlight the aspects that are similar to what we find in Diderot’s text. O artigo busca estabelecer uma relação entre a poética do Sobrinho de Rameau e o gênero da Sátira. A hipótese é a de que o texto, ao modificar alguns critérios de representação, rompe com as convenções vigentes do gênero à época. Não se pretende aqui, contudo, tomar como parâmetro a Sátira in abstractu, mas sim partir de alguns dos usos e concepções desse gênero próprios à segunda metade do século XVIII, que não serão descritos de forma será exaustiva. Trata-se de trazer para a discussão alguns traços hegemônicos e recorrentes, de modo a salientar os pontos em que eles se aproximam do que encontramos no texto de Diderot. |
