Descripción :	This article discusses how the Fantastic Literature of the twentieth century, which the poetics of Franz Kafka would be the starting point, promotes, in spite of the construction of an unusual world, mimetic representation of the real, here metonymically figured in the modern urban space, home of today’s man. Thus, this genre is argued in its execution nineteenth century as an important means of discussion of issues relevant to contemporary life. To this end, recovers, as an allegory of the test developed here, the flâneur’s image, character whose function is to read the metropolis and that in our essay is to represent the analytical look that Fantastic Literature post-Kafka aims release about reality. Este artigo discute como a Literatura Fantástica do século XX, da qual a poética de Franz Kafka seria o marco inicial, promove, a despeito da construção que empreende de um mundo insólito, a representação mimética do real, aqui metonimicamente figurado no espaço urbano moderno, lar do homem hodierno. Desse modo, defende-se esse gênero, em sua efetivação novecentista, como importante via de discussão de questões pertinentes à existência contemporânea. Para esse fim, recupera-se, como alegoria do ensaio aqui desenvolvido, a imagem do flâneur, em vias de extinção já desde de meados do XIX, personagem que tem por função a leitura da urbe e que vem em nosso ensaio representar o olhar analítico que essa Literatura Fantástica pós-Kafka sói lançar sobre a realidade.
