| Descripción : | The aim of this article is to discuss the relations between Poetry and Power in the troubadour’s practice, examining the political and social tensions of the medieval Iberian society in the context of the reign of Alfonso X of Castile. The resources chosen for identification and analysis of social tensions, and its treatment by the royal power, are the satirical chants created by Alfonso X, king of Castile in the thirteenth century, who was also a great troubadour. The specific question examined is the relation between the King and the aristocracy. O objeto deste artigo é discutir as relações entre Poesia e Poder na prática trovadoresca, examinando as tensões políticas e sociais das sociedades medievais ibéricas no contexto do reinado de Afonso X de Castela. As fontes escolhidas para identificação e análise das tensões sociais, e seu tratamento pelo poder régio, são as cantigas satíricas criadas por Afonso X, rei de Castela no século XIII que foi também um grande trovador. O problema específico examinado são as relações entre o Rei e os diversos segmentos da Nobreza. |
