Descripción :	The aim of this article is to build up a reading that reveals a method of discovery derived from the analysis of the object itself, in this case, projects and architectural works by Vilanova Artigas, Paulo Mendes da Rocha and Angelo Bucci, as a way to understand their constituent processes as well as the associations by similarity related to the artistic that gives shape to the reality of the matter - the architecture. Along the way, we tried to minimize the reasoning by contiguity, that is, the mere existence of an architectural style unifying the works analyzed from aesthetic-constructive points common to them.  Instead, we looked at the peculiarities that make each  house presented here  a unique work   that has absorbed  knowledge from  the past by desanctifying it, opening itself to the metalinguistic plays in a vast formal repertoire that is conventionally named  paulista architecture. Este artigo busca construir uma leitura que desvenda um método de descoberta derivado do próprio objeto analisado, nesse caso, projetos e obras arquitetônicas de Vilanova Artigas, Paulo Mendes da Rocha e Ângelo Bucci, na busca pelo entendimento de seus processos constitutivos, bem como, pelas associações por similaridade relacionadas ao fazer artístico que dá corpo à matéria – a arquitetura. Nesse percurso tentamos minimizar um raciocínio por contiguidade, da mera existência de um estilo arquitetônico a unir as obras analisadas, pelos pontos estético-construtivos comuns aos três casos estudados. Ao invés disso, atentamos para peculiaridades que fazem de cada uma das casas aqui apresentadas, obra única, que aprende com um fazer do passado dessacralizando-o e abrindo-se aos saltos metalinguísticos em relação a um vasto repertório formal, que se convencionou chamar de arquitetura paulista.
