Descripción :	It is concentrated in the examination of the enunciative engendering used by the American writer Paul Auster in The New York Trilogy (1987) and in The Brooklyn Follies (2005). In the cited narratives, it was observed some complex relations, since the empirical author himself appears as character, explicitly and implicitly, by spraying the wording accounts on his life through the texts, moving autobiographically. Auster also exposes events experienced by other writers as “real people”. Thus, in addition to the authority of the name that appears on the covers of books and facts that crowd the authorized biographies, Auster searches for facts “truly” lived, illustrating the most of the humanity of the artists he admires and whose experiences have provided his own subjectivity and his artistical identity. Este trabalho detém-se no exame dos engendramentos enunciativos utilizados pelo escritor estadunidense Paul Auster em A Trilogia de Nova York (1987) e Desvarios no Brooklyn (2005). Nas narrativas em foco, observa-se que as relações são complexas, vez que o próprio autor empírico figura como personagem de modo explícito e implícito, aspergindo pelos textos relatos da própria vida, em movimento autobiográfico. Auster expõe também acontecimentos vividos por outros escritores como “pessoas físicas”. Desse modo, para além da autoridade do nome o qual figura nas capas dos livros e dos fatos que pululam nas biografias autorizadas, Auster procura fatos “verdadeiramente” vividos, que ilustrem, ao máximo, a humanidade dos artistas que admira e com cuja experiência julga ter constituído a própria subjetividade e a identidade artística.
