| Descripción : | O autor apresenta uma caracterização sociodemográfica da migração na década de 80 por macrorregiões brasileiras, com ênfase na Região Norte. Inicialmente, procura quantificar os principais fluxos migratórios entre essas macrorregiões e calcula os saldos migratórios decorrentes desses fluxos. Em seguida, estuda a distribuição por idade e sexo dos migrantes, procurando identificar, sempre que possível, o tipo familiar ou não predominantes nos principais fluxos. Finalmente, analisa as características socioeconômicas dos migrantes, tendo como indicador o respectivo grau de escolaridade. In this paper the author shows the socio-demographic characteristics of migration in the 1980s, by regions of Brazil, with particular emphasis to the North region. The main migration flows between the regions are estimated, as well as the liquid migration resulting from these flows. The distribution of migrants by age and sex is investigated, in an attempt to identify, as far as possible, the familiar migration, ie, the type not predominant in the main flows. Finally, analysis are carried on the socio-economic characteristics of migrants, based on the educational level. |
