Descripción :	Cuando hace exactamente cinco años presentábamos el primer volumen de Patristica et Mediaevalia la definimos prudentemente como una publicación aperiódica que se proponía dar a conocer trabajos que en este Centro de Estudios de Filosofía Medieval o eventualmente en otras instituciones realizaran los investigadores que aquí dedican sus esfuerzos al estudio del pensamiento filosófico de los Padres griegos y latinos, o de la escolástica medieval. Esa prudencia resultó justificada, lamentablemente, bastante más de lo que hubiéramos deseado. Sin embargo, en adelante las perspectivas son mejores y esperamos fundamentalmente que el volumen III pueda aparecer el año próximo. Vaya aquí nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a las publicaciones que, durante estos cinco años, supieron comprender y no interrumpieron el intercambio comenzado. When exactly five years ago we presented the first volume of Patristica et Mediaevalia, we prudently defined it as an aperiodic publication that intended to published investigations developed at this Section of Studies of Medieval Philosophy or eventually at other institutions by researchers who here dedicate their efforts to the study of the Philosophical thought of the Greek and Latin Fathers, or of Medieval scholasticism. This caution turned out to be justified, unfortunately much more than we would have wished. However, from now on the perspectives are better and we hope fundamentally that volume III can appear next year. Our most sincere thanks to the publications that, during these five years, understood this process and did not interrupt the on going exchanges.
