| Descripción : | En el presente trabajo se busca mostrar el retorno del mito en el siglo XX, a través de la literatura fantástica, y cómo a partir de la literatura fantástica y el mito, valga la redundancia, se puede realizar una crítica a la razón instrumental. Esto se llevará a cabo a través del análisis de El Silmarillion de J. R. R. Tolkien y El Sobrino del Mago de C. S. Lewis. Asimismo, se hará una breve introducción histórica y tipológica sobre la literatura fantástica, y se tendrá en cuenta las dos Guerras Mundiales como contexto clave para estudiar las obras y la relación entre mito y razón intrumental. In the present work we seek to show the return of myth in the twentieth century, through fantastic literature, and how from fantastic literature and myth, worth the redundancy, you can make a critique of instrumental reason. This will be done through the analysis of The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Tolkien and The Nephew of the Magician by C. S. Lewis. There will also be a brief historical and typological introduction about fantastic literature, and the two World Wars will be taken into account as a key context for studying the works and the relationship between myth and instrumental reason.
