Descripción :	La presente investigación histórica se centró en el análisis e interpretación de la obra de fray Pedro de Tobar y Buendía, titulada: Verdadera histórica relación del origen, manifestación y prodigiosa renovación por sí misma, y milagros de la imagen de la Sacratísima Virgen María Madre de Dios Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Chiquinquirá. Para llevar a cabo lo anterior., se hizo una reconstrucción histórica del siglo XVI y XVII español en tomo a las producciones^ textuales que se empiezan a producir con el establecimiento de los Reyes Católicos en el poder. Con el surgimiento de estas obras hay dos cambios importantes. El primero es la transformación de los Miracula, o milagro literario , de las obras hagiográficas en el periodo comprendido del siglo XVI y XVII, en el cual se escriben de manera señalizada, el segundo, empiezan a surgir obras que nos refieren sobre milagrosas imágenes y sus santuarios en el periodo de tiempo descrito. Cabe agregar que también se hizo la reconstrucción de un imaginario de mujer y de beata para poder llevar a cabo el análisis las representaciones contenidas en la obra de Pedro de Tobar y Buendía. Toda la presente investigación se centró en responder una pregunta: ¿cuál era la finalidad de la obra escrita por fray Pedro de Tobar y Buendía?, utilizando los postulados y dos categorías (imaginario y representación) de la Historia Cultural. "This historical research focused on the analysis and interpretation of the work of Fray Pedro de Tobar and Buendia, entitled True historical relationship of origin, manifestation and prodigious renewal itself, and miracles of the image of the Most Holy Virgin Mary Mother of God Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá. It became a historical reconstruction of the sixteenth and seventeenth century in Spain around textual productions that begin to occur with of the establishment of the Catholic Monarchs in the throne. With the emergence of these works are two important changes. The first is the transformation or the Miracula, or ""literary miracle"", of the hagiographic works in the period of the sixteenth and seventeenth century which are written in a serialized manner, the second, begin to emerge works refer us abo miraculous images and their sanctuaries in the time period described. It s added that was also made the reconstruction of an imaginary of woman and blessed to be able to carry out the analysis of the representations contained in the work of Pedro de Tobar and Buendia. All this research focused on answering a question: what was the purpose of the letter written by Fray Pedro de Tobar and Buendia?, using the postulates and two categories (imaginary and representation) of Cultural History work."
