Descripción :	This article relates to topics of memory and victims’ reparation in armed conflicts. It supports the idea that amnesty and pardon to the victimizers are necessary in any peace process or agreement, but they must provide opportunities for the reconstruction of a collective memory that gives the victims of violence the possibility to find sense and an explanation for their drama. The author makes reference to the singularity of the colombian conflict and the experience of Medellín, a city that has implemented agreements of demobilization and submission to justice that have given great importance to the pacts of forgive and forget but have ignored the memory of the victims and the reconstruction of “their” truth. The article also questions the actual possibility of implementing processes with a high dose of memory and truth for the victims, and ends by claiming that the starting point to build the memory and the history of the city must be based on the truth, and that the creation of “policies of memory” must be a joint responsibility between the State and the society.  El artículo se refiere al tema de la memoria y de la reparación de las víctimas de los conflictos armados. Sostiene que aunque las amnistías e indultos a los victimarios son necesarios en los procesos y acuerdos de paz, estos deben brindar oportunidades para la reconstrucción de una memoria colectiva que les permitan a las personas que han sufrido la violencia, encontrar sentido y explicación a sus dramas. La autora alude a la singularidad del conflicto colombiano y a las experiencias de Medellín con acuerdos de desmovilización y sometimiento a la justicia, cuyo énfasis ha estado en los pactos de perdón y olvido, pasando por alto la memoria de las víctimas y reconstrucción de “su” verdad. Se pregunta por la posibilidad real de poner en marcha procesos con altas dosis de memoria y verdad para las víctimas y, finalmente, plantea que la verdad es el punto de partida para construir la memoria y la historia de laciudad; y que compete principalmente al Estado, pero también a la sociedad, la creación de “políticas de la memoria”.
