Descripción :	In this article, a longitudinal study of documentary data was carried out to create an urban well-being index. The urban well-being derived from the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses linked to the multicultural, adequate, sustainable and healthy situation of the cities of Oaxaca, Mexico is assessed. This index was subjected to a descriptive statistical and network análisis. It was evidenced that there is no city that stands out from the rest with a high index of well-being. The hypothesis that the cities of Oaxaca have high urban well-being is rejected, since the cities have low values. The index considered in the article can be as an alternative to assess the welfare of cities, as well as the particular attention they require. En este artículo se realizó un estudio longitudinal a través de la cuantificación y la percepción de datos documentales para crear un índice de bienestar urbano. Se valora el bienestar urbano a través de las fortalezas y las debilidades ligadas a la situación multicultural, adecuada, sostenible y saludable de las ciudades de Oaxaca, México. El índice propuesto se sometió al análisis de redes y estadístico descriptivo, analizando ocho dimensiones de las ciudades. Se evidenció que no existe una ciudad que sobresalga del resto con un alto índice de bienestar, el cual resultó un indicador alternativo del bienestar urbano. La hipótesis que las ciudades analizadas poseen altos índices de bienestar urbano se rechaza, pues ostentan valores bajos. El índice considerado en el artículo puede funcionar como una alternativa para valorar el bienestar de las ciudades y la atención particular que requieren.
