Descripción :	The article aim is the examination of what constitutes, in José Revueltas and Henri Lefebvre, the deployment of the dialectical method in the analysis of social reality, knowing that for both authors, the dialectical movement of negativity (the critique) represents an essential moment in their theoretical approaches. To accomplish it, the analysis of three categories, considered transversal and closely linked in their works, will be taken as route of entry to the authors’ projects, namely: everyday, alienation and praxis. El objetivo del artículo es el examen de lo que constituye, en José Revueltas y Henri Lefebvre, el despliegue del método dialéctico en el análisis de la realidad social, a sabiendas de que, para ambos autores, el movimiento dialéctico de la negatividad (la crítica) representa un momento esencial en sus planteamientos. Para lo anterior, se tomará como ruta de ingreso a sus proyectos, el análisis de tres categorías que se consideran transversales e íntimamente ligadas en sus obras, a saber: cotidianidad, enajenación y praxis.
