Título :	THE CONCEPT OF POWER IN DELEUZE GUATTARI THOUGHT. PHILOSOPHICAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL THEORY El PODER EN EL PENSAMIENTO DE DELEUZE Y GUATTARI. APORTES FILOSÓFICOS PARA LA TEORÍA SOCIAL CONTEMPORÁNEA

Descripción :	The aim of this paper is to light up some possible contribution that deleuzean philosophy could give to political and social theories. This is done by an examination of Deleuze’s conception of power. The first result of our research is the claim that this kind of examination requires a methodological reduction: from the pair of concepts  “molar” and “molecular” -on which is based deleuzean more general conceptions of society- to the pair “virtual” and “actual” or “event” and “state of things”. By the mentioned reduction it will be possible to identify two different and chronologically consecutive concepts of power, where the last one, which partially includes the first of them, allows to define power as an (non subjective) agent in production of subjectivity. The major contribution of this paper is precisely to identify and clear up this definition.   En el presente trabajo se pretende elucidar algunos de los aportes posibles de la filosofía deleuzeana a la teoría social y política, a través de un examen de su concepción del poder. La investigación arroja como un primer resultado que dicho examen requiere una reducción metodológica de los conceptos de lo “molar” y lo “molecular” -que constituyen su concepción más general de lo social- a los términos propios de sus desarrollos ontológicos: “virtual” y “actual” o “acontecimiento y “estado de cosas”. Dicha reducción permitirá identificar dos concepciones cronológicamente sucesivas del poder, la segunda de las cuales, que incluye parcialmente a la primera, permite dar con una definición del poder como agente (no subjetivo) de producción de subjetividad, lo que constituye el resultado de la investigación y su mayor aporte.
