dc.descriptionHigher Education currently has emphasized new educational policies, focused on the transversal development of skills in the research field, generating training of competent professionals who provide immediate responses to social needs.  However, universities can only fulfill this mission if the training of these professionals is structured on a scientific basis.  Therefore, promoting research skills in third-level students in Ecuador constitutes an inescapable need, which demands a deepening of the domain of scientific research, from the teaching-learning process.  Allowing to establish the analysis of the real situation in the National University of Chimborazo through the review of institutional regulations that explain this need.  This research is descriptive explanatory, it works from a qualitative approach, with a qualitative perspective of an interpretive type, which allows us to indicate the understanding and interpretation of the reality of skills in the research field, the documentary analysis was used for the development of the present work framed in the research fielden-US
dc.descriptionLa Educación Superior en la actualidad ha hecho énfasis en las nuevas políticas educativas, enfocadas en el desarrollo transversal de destrezas en el campo investigativo generando una formación de profesionales competentes que brinde respuestas inmediatas a las necesidades sociales. Sin embargo, las universidades solo podrán cumplir con esta misión, si la formación de estos profesionales está estructurada sobre bases científicas. Por ende, promover las destrezas en el campo investigativo en estudiantes de tercer nivel en Ecuador, constituye una necesidad ineludible, que demanda una profundización en el dominio de la investigación científica, desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Permitiendo establecer el análisis de la situación real en la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo, a través de la revisión de normativas institucionales, que explicitan esta necesidad. La presente investigación es de carácter descriptivo-explicativo, se trabaja desde un enfoque cualitativo, con una perspectiva cualitativa de tipo interpretativo, el cual permite indicar la comprensión e interpretación de la realidad de destrezas en el campo investigativo; se utilizó el análisis documental para el desarrollo del presente trabajo enmarcado en el campo investigativo.es-ES
