dc.descriptionThe current social demands raise the urgent need to investigate about the physical and health status of future professionals in higher education. Under this precept, we continued with the study of the importance of Physical Condition in the students of the School of Dentistry of Vallede Las Palmas of the Autonomous University of Baja California and the knowledge they have about this important aspect and its influence on the profession. A descriptive study of what was planned was carried out, working with the statistics and the method of frequency distribution, the diagnosis was obtained the percentages of the opinions ofa sample of 70 respondents, of the main clinics that manifest having a greater Exhaustion to perform their practice and are the dental surgery clinic with 28.6% (20), surgery 25.7% (18) and the main position is sitting 82.9% (59), who being in 52.9% , an important part of the future professionals do not carry out physical activities, nor do they know which are the most important that positively tax their profession, likewise, which are the specialties that most affect the daily work.en-US
dc.descriptionLas exigencias sociales actuales plantean la imperiosa necesidad de investigar acerca del estado físico y de salud que presentan los futuros profesionales de la educación superior. Bajo este precepto se continuó con el estudio de la importancia de la Condición Física en los alumnos de la Escuela de Odontología de Valle de Las Palmas de la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California y del conocimiento que tienen acerca de este importante aspecto y de su influencia en el desempeño de las tareas profesionales. Se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo de lo planeado, trabajándose con la estadística y el método de distribución de frecuencias. Del diagnóstico derivaron los porcentajes de las opiniones de una muestra de 70 encuestados, de las principales clínicas que manifiestan tener un mayor agotamiento al desempeñar su práctica: la clínica de operatoria dental con el 28,6% (20), cirugía 25,7%(18) y la principal postura es sentada 82,9%(59), quienes siendo en un 52.9%. Una parte importante de los futuros profesionales no realizan actividades físicas ni conocen las más importantes que tributan de forma positiva a su profesión, así mismo las especialidades que más afectan en el trabajo diario.es-ES
