dc.descriptionMuscle skeletal conditions caused by the lack of ergonomic work-related considerations are one of the most frequent diseases at the national and global levels, with ergonomic risks for workers in the combustion engine maintenance workshop being of vital importance and developing strategies to prevent and reduce its incidence.   With the aim of improving the working conditions of the workers of the oil service company, it decided to do an ergonomic evaluation of the internal combustion engine maintenance workshop in a quantitative way with the application of recognized and qualitative ergonomic methods through surveys. In order to detect ergonomic hazards in workers applying internationally recognized methods, the ergonomic risks were determined and the evaluation was performed.   Thus, a risk assessment matrix from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health was used to determine the level of risk, the NIOSH method to evaluate the manual lifting of loads, ergonomic evaluation method REBA for the evaluation of forced postures during their work activity, the data obtained from ergonomic risk assessments indicate that it is essential an intervention in job activities to make improvements and prevent serious musculoskeletal conditions with the way of time.en-US
dc.descriptionLas afecciones musculo-esqueléticas ocasionadas por la falta de consideraciones ergonómicas relacionadas al trabajo constituyen una de las enfermedades más frecuentes a nivel nacional y mundial, siendo de vital importancia los riesgos ergonómicos en los trabajadores del taller de mantenimiento de motores de combustión, así como el desarrollo de estrategias para prevenir y reducir su ocurrencia. Con el objetivo de mejorar las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores de la empresa de prestación de servicios petroleros se tomó la decisión de realizar la evaluación ergonómica del taller de mantenimiento de motores de combustión interna de forma cuantitativa con la aplicación de métodos ergonómicos reconocidos y cualitativos mediante encuestas, y de ese modo detectar los riesgos ergonómicos en los trabajadores. Los datos obtenidos de las valoraciones indican que se requiere intervención en las actividades de los puestos de trabajo para realizar mejoras y prevenir afecciones musculo-esqueléticas graves.  es-ES
