dc.descriptionIn recent years, there have been several studies have been devoted to a hitherto unexplored region of the Andes: the highlands of Lambayeque. At an unprecedented rate, in the last three years almost ten studies have been published addressing this region, for which very little ethnographic, historical or archaeological information exists. Here we will address only those who, to our modest criteria, could help to fill the gap that still affects the Sierra de Lambayeque, an area hitherto nearly absent in the anthropology and ethnography of the Andes.en-US
dc.descriptionEn años recientes, han aparecido varios estudios dedicados a una región hasta ahora no muy estudiada de los Andes: las tierras altas de Lambayeque. A un ritmo sin precedentes, en los últimos tres años se ha publicado casi una decena de estudios que abordan esta región, sobre la que existe muy poca información etnográfica, histórica o arqueológica. Aquí abordaremos solo aquellos que, a nuestro modesto criterio, podrían ayudar a llenar el vacío que todavía afecta a la sierra de Lambayeque, una pieza hasta ahora ausente en la antropología y la etnografía de los Andes.es-ES
