Descripción :	La investigación es una de las funciones de los profesores ubicados en un Departamento Universitario. En el caso de la investigación en el campo de la Educación Musical, se tiene ahora mucha más oportunidad que antes de poder investigar en este campo, ello es debido a que la LOGSE contempla la Educación Musical como materia obligatoria en el Curriculum escolar de Primaria y Secundaria. Así pues también los maestros tienen la oportunidad de investigar en este campo.Su investigación debe estar integrada en el trabajo de cada día puesto que el trabajo de maestro conlleva un continuo cambio en un afán de mejora y superación. Desde nuestro Departamento, quisieramos inculcar a nuestros alumnos, futuros maestros, la idea de que investigar no es sólo trabajo de científicos sino que ellos podran hacerlo en la propia aula. Tenemos oportunidad también de trabajar con alumnos de Doctorado en el programa de "Música y su Didáctica" y, desde este programa iniciar nuevos trabajos de investigación en la línea de investigación -acción en el aula que nos parece muy adecuada para ser realizada por los enseñantes. Research is one of the functions of teachers located in a University Department. In the case of research in the field of Music Education, there is now much more opportunity than before to be able to investigate in this field, this is because the LOGSE contemplates Musical Education as a compulsory subject in the Primary School Curriculum and High school. So also teachers have the opportunity to investigate in this field. Their research must be integrated into the work of each day since the work of teacher entails a continuous change in a desire for improvement and improvement. From our Department, we would like to instill in our students, future teachers, the idea that research is not only the work of scientists but that they can do it in the classroom itself. We also have the opportunity to work with PhD students in the "Music and its Didactics" program and, from this program, to initiate new research work in the line of research -action in the classroom that seems very suitable to be done by the teachers.
