This qualitative study analyzes the value of rhythmic education in the primary education from the students’ perspective. After twelve sessions of intervention at twelve public schools, a total of 96 students were interviewed through random sampling. Data were collected in audio files and transcriptions were analyzed using open and axial coding described by Strauss and Corbin. Results show that rhythmic education provides students with new ways to express their emotions and a new form of interdisciplinary learning just as it creates an atmosphere of wellness and improves peer relationships – all relevant data for educational intervention.en-US
