| dc.description | Resumen El presente artículo pretende identificar interpretativamente factores sociales detonantes que hacen posible el cambio social. Comienza presentando un análisis crítico del institucionalismo de elección racional. Se propone que la identificación del poder inmanente en todas las relaciones sociales representa el factor principal para la explicación de los procesos sociales de cambio. Se reconoce que las interacciones entre elementos materiales, ideacionales, estructurales y de agencia ubicados en tiempo y espacio resultan cruciales. Se discute que las funciones y actividades de los ámbitos público y privado se complementan mutuamente. Finalmente, se considera que la apropiación interna del cambio contribuye al carácter incremental, puntuado y evolucionario del cambio social. Social Change: Intentional Actors and Processes Abstract In this paper, I will intend to identity the social factors triggering social change. I will start by presenting a critical analysis of rational choice institutionalism. I will, then, assume that identifying immanent power in all social relations is the key to accounting for the social processes of change. It is acknowledged that interactions between material, ideational, structural and agency elements in space and time are crucial. After that, I will explain how functions and activities in the public and private spheres complement each other. Finally, it is considered that change internal appropriation contributes to incremental, punctuated and evolutionary social change. | es-ES |
