| dc.description | ResumenLa sociología contemporánea se ha vuelto más consciente de su historicidad y de la importancia de la historia, y del mismo modo, le ha hecho un espacio en sus teorías al problema lenguaje a la hora de explicar el orden social y su funcionamiento. A pesar de la coincidencia de intereses teóricos y metodológicos entre sociología e historia, las metodologías contemporáneas en historia intelectual poca atención le han prestado a estas teorías, cuando les podrían brindar ingentes recursos en un debate que ya no es meramente metodológico, sino que apunta a los fundamentos mismos de la validez de la historia como disciplina. La teoría social de Niklas Luhmann es una de esas teorías sociológicas que podría brindar herramientas teóricas para que la historia se piense como sistema social, y que, además, pueda desarrollar nuevos programas de investigación tomando como diferencia directriz aquella entre la semántica y la estructura social. Siguiendo este programa sistémico, la historia podría alcanzar un cambio de paradigma: el de la complejidad.“Observing” the History of Ideas. Niklas Luhmann and his Contribution to the Contemporary Debate on HistoriographyAbstractContemporary sociology has become increasingly conscious of its historicity and of the importance of history, and its theories have also given room to language when it comes to explaining social order and how it works. Although sociology and history share some common theoretical and methodological interests, contemporary methodology in intellectual history has paid little attention to those theories even if great resources could be provided to a debate which is no longer merely methodological, but focuses on the very foundations of history as a discipline. Niklas Luhman’s social theory is one of those sociological theories that could provide theoretical tools, so that history may be thought of as social system with an additional ability to develop new research programs following the difference between semantics and social structure as the leading distinction. Luhmann’s theory could lead history into a paradigmatic change: that of complexity. | es-ES |
