dc.description.abstract	The explanation of the worldwide disparities in income and economic growth has become one of the central issues in the recent wave of endogenous growth literature. This paper is also focused on that topic. Our hypothesis is that a partial explanation of these disparities lies in the degree of maturity of the net of interindustry linkages is a significant element in the growth process.
