| dc.description | This essay is a reflection on the documentary "The Chilean building", as a corpus of study, that through a biographical code collectivizes the particular memory of a girl left by her parents in Cuba, so they could return to the armed resistance that fought against Chile's dictatorship. Two generations are faced who disengage from de public narration domain and deepen in the private aspects: how did the decision of leaving their children on behalf of a revolution that was never won influence the lives of these adults, and how was the experience of abandonment for these children. The parents go beyond the heroe-victim dyad and, -through their descendant's memories-, become human in all their magnitude. | en-US |
| dc.description | El presente texto busca reflexionar en torno al documental "El edificio de los chilenos" como corpus de estudio, que en clave biográfica va colectivizando la memoria particular de una niña dejada por sus padres en Cuba para que éstos regresen a la resistencia armada frente a la dictadura en Chile. Se enfrentan dos generaciones quienes se desenmarcan del relato público para profundizar en lo privado: cómo influyó en las vidas de esos adultos la decisión de dejar a los hijos e hijas en nombre de una revolución que jamás fue ganada y cómo fue para esos hijos ser abandonados. Los progenitores sobrepasan la díada heroísmo-victimización, y -a través de las memorias de sus descendientes- se vuelven humanos en toda su magnitud. | es-ES |
