The  article  shown  and  analyze  the  effects  of  three didactic teaching strategies (PBL PBL ADG guided discovery  learning  and  teaching  for  understanding  EPC) on attitudes towards learning chemistry in high school students differentiated cognitive style dimension field dependence-independence.  The  research  methodology  was  quantitative,  following  a  design  pre  and  post experimental,  without  control  group.  Determine  attitudes  were  applied  an  instrument  of  the  Colombian Institute ICFES to determine the attitudes of students in secondary education in science which was adapted to  determine  attitudes  towards  learning  chemistry. The instrument allows determine the attitudes in two dimensions instrumental and emotional. The results lead to the conclusion among others: strategies in question have a statistically significant effect on the instrumental and affective dimensions of attitudes.  En el artículo se muestran y analizan los efectos de tres estrategias didácticas de enseñanza (aprendizaje basado en problemas ABP, aprendizaje por descubrimiento guiado ADG y enseñanza para la comprensión EPC) sobre las actitudes hacia el aprendizaje de la química en estudiantes de educación media diferenciados por su estilo cognitivo en la dimensión dependencia- independencia de campo. Para la investigación se siguió una metodología cuantitativa con un diseño pre- experimental pre y  post  test,  sin  grupo  control.  Para  la  determinación de las actitudes hacia el aprendizaje de la química se adaptó un instrumento del Instituto Colombiano ICFES. Los  resultados  llevan  a  concluir,  entre  otros,  que  las estrategias en mención presentan un efecto estadísticamente significativo en las dimensiones instrumental y afectiva de las actitudes.
