dc.description	In different local landscapes, both national and international; the importance of implementing strategies that boost social appropriation of the scientific and technological knowledge to the interior of the societies, in order to generate processes continuous of social learning, as well as to improve the economic development and the competitiveness of the countries. Nevertheless, to speak of social appropriation of the knowledge in many spaces tends to be confused with the distraction of the knowledge, that is to say, that stops some social groups the concept has been distorted to such point to indicate to the loss of his knowledge by the indiscriminate spreading that supposes the mass use of knowledge. Although the different organizations taking care of this subject have indicated the importance of the participation of different groups from interest of the civil society and the re-definition of the relation between the doers and the beneficiaries of knowledge itself, that seems the recognition remains in the paper without greater importance. That is why, when reviewing social appropriation knowledge concepts from its relation with the traditional knowledge on communities meaning how the model analysis such as the triple helix: university, industry and government explains the dyna-mics that is weaved around the benefits that the popularized of the knowledge generates and the importance that the recognition has with the participant communities during the process.	en-US
dc.description	En diferentes espacios locales, nacionales e internacionales se ha señalado la importancia de implementar estrategias para impulsar la apropiación social del conocimiento al interior de las sociedades, con el propósito de generar procesos continuos de aprendizaje social, así como mejorar el desarrollo económico y la competitividad de los países. Sin embargo, hablar de apropiación social del conocimiento en muchos espacios tiende a confundirse con la enajenación del conocimiento, es decir, que para algunos grupos sociales el concepto se ha tergiversado a tal punto de señalar la pérdida de sus saberes por la divulgación indiscriminada que supone la masificación del conocimiento. Si bien las diferentes organizaciones que se han ocupado en este asunto han señalado la importancia de la participación de los diferentes grupos de interés de la sociedad civil y la redefinición de la relación entre los hacedores del conocimiento y los beneficiarios del mismo, parece que tal reconocimiento se queda en el papel sin mayor trascendencia. Por lo que revisar el concepto de apropiación social del conocimiento desde su relación con los conocimientos tradicionales de las comunidades, significa analizar como modelos como el de la triple hélice: universidad, industria y gobierno explica la dinámica que se teje en torno a los beneficios que genera la popularización del conocimiento y la importancia que reviste el reconocimiento de las comunidades participantes enel proceso.	es-ES
