dc.description	Social networks are structures composed of individuals who interact through exchange relationships based on emotional and material through which social support are offered. Research on social networks points to structural and functional analysis in an adverse or socially vulnerable groups by identifying the impact of network relationships on welfare, participation and social integration of individuals. In this paper, we present an analysis of the social network function within the contexts of poverty and its relationship to health and quality of life of people.	en-US
dc.description	Las redes sociales son estructuras constituidas por individuos que interactúan a través de relaciones basadas en el intercambio emocional y material por medio del cual se ofrece apoyo social. La investigación sobre redes sociales apunta al análisis estructural y funcional en condiciones de adversidad o en grupos socialmente vulnerables identifi cando el impacto de las relaciones en la red sobre el bienestar, la participación y la integración social de los individuos. En éste artículo se realiza un análisis de la función social de la red dentro de los contextos de pobreza así como su relación con la salud y la calidad de vida de las personas.	es-ES
