dc.description	The objective of this article is to broaden the understanding of “ways of inhabiting”, based on previous research entitled “Habitat and Architecture in Colombia. Ways of inhabiting”. In particular, it focuses on a reworking of the conceptual approach that was proposed in that book and at that time. In this text, four basic concepts are worked: habitat, inhabit, culture and architecture, and study the role they play in the construction of ways of living, whose synthesis is set out in the concluding section. In the end, two examples taken from the literature on the pre-Hispanic period and from de XIX century are included, to imply how the subject of ways of living, can be read in one of the possible approaches to the subject.	en-US
dc.description	El objetivo de este artículo es ampliar el entendimiento de “los modos de habitar”, con base en la investigación previa titulada “Hábitat y Arquitectura en Colombia. Los modos de habitar”. En particular, se centra en una reelaboración del planteamiento conceptual que se propuso en ese libro y en ese momento. En este texto, se trabajan cuatro conceptos básicos: hábitat, habitar, cultura y arquitectura, y se estudia el papel que desempeñan en la construcción de los modos de habitar, cuya síntesis se expone en la sección conclusiva. Se incluyen al final dos ejemplos tomados de la literatura sobre el período prehispánico, y sobre el siglo IXI, para dar a entender cómo el tema de los modos de habitar puede leerse en una de las posibles aproximaciones al tema.	es-ES
dc.description	O objetivo deste artigo é ampliar o entendimento de “maneiras de habitar”, com base em pesquisas anteriores intituladas “Habitat e arquitetura na Colômbia. Maneiras de habitar”. Em particular, ele se concentra em uma reformulação da abordagem conceitual proposta nesse livro e na época. Neste texto, são trabalhados quatro conceitos básicos: habitat, habitação, cultura e arquitetura, e estudamos o papel que desempenham na construção de modos de vida, cuja síntese é apresentada na seção final. No final, foram incluídos dois exemplos retirados da literatura sobre o período pré-hispânico e sobre o século XIX, para sugerir como o sujeito dos modos de vida, pode ser lido em uma das abordagens possíveis para o assunto.	pt-PT
