| dc.description | The present article is the result of a documentary research centered in the analysis of institutional sources, on the report that the academic pairs of the Ministry of Education in Colombia when they visited the University Santo Tomás between the years 2009-2014, with the purpose, Renew the accredited programs of High Quality and the Qualified Registry. The study seeks to analyze the impact of the welfare factor when the institution was visited, since quality standards in higher education within the framework of university management, involve and increasingly emphasize the role of university welfare in terms of inclusion, coverage, Retention, satisfaction and social policies within an educational anthropology: the welfare of the community. | dc.description | El presente artículo es el resultado de una investigación documental centrada en el análisis de fuentes institucionales, sobre el informe que dieron los pares académicos del Ministerio de Educación en Colombia cuando visitaron la Universidad Santo Tomás entre los años 2009-2014, con el fin de renovar los programas acreditados de Alta Calidad y el Registro Calificado.El estudio busca analizar el impacto del factor bienestar cuando se visitó dicha institución, pues los estándares de calidad en la educación superior en el marco de la gestión universitaria, involucran y realzan cada vez más el rol del bienestar universitario en función de resultados de inclusión, cobertura, retención, satisfacción y políticas sociales dentro de una antropología educativa: el bienestar de la comunidad.Siguiendo una metodología de carácter cualitativo al estudiar las fuentes documentales en 15 carreras de pregrado y 28 programas de posgrado; se constata, entre otras, las fortalezas del impacto de bienestar con su Programa de Retención y Sostenibilidad Académica (PAAI); la investigación; el programa Mueve USTA, el proyecto Círculo Educativo de Prevención y Promoción Integral (CEPI); plan de becas, apoyos a los profesores y estudiantes de pregrado para que adelanten especializaciones, elogio a la gestión del Departamento de Bienestar con relación al Proyecto Educativo Institucional y las políticas de educación superior.El informe de los pares académicos deja ver sugerencias, las cuales se trascriben en el estudio, pero el impacto del factor bienestar es superior, como lo confirma la lectura de las fuentes. | es-ES |
