| dc.description | ResumenEn el presente artículo abordaré el papel de la religión en la sociedad moderna teniendoen cuenta dos fenómenos de compleja y urgente comprensión: la globalización y lamultirreligiosidad. Tales fenómenos se enmarcan en la realidad del mundo circundante,un mundo cada vez más secularizado e indiferente a los asuntos religiosos y en contrapartidaun mundo prolífero en tendencias religiosas y multiplicidad de credos. Portanto es importante intentar una aproximación holística que nos permita comprender yexplicar la salud y el futuro de la religión, situación que se agrava si miramos las implicacionessociales de las religiones que parecen cada vez menos determinantes comolas individuales, cada vez más tenidas en cuenta, ya que el ser humano parece necesitarel consuelo o el horizonte de la trascendencia. Tales fenómenos exigen un rediseño, unreplanteamiento sustancial en las religiones que respondan coherentemente a las inquietudesdel hombre moderno y preparen su futuro. Finalmente abordaremos el tema en elcontexto nacional, como una realidad que exige un trabajo y diálogo sensato, honestoy urgente por parte de las autoridades del Estado, los profesionales de la educación,Ministerios encargados así como de las Iglesias vigentes en Colombia.AbstractThe present article intends to discuss the role of religion in the modern society takinginto account two complex and urgent phenomena: globalization and multi- religiosity.Such phenomena are framed by the reality of the surrounding world, a world whichis more and more secularized and indifferent to religious topics. In opposition to thisthere is a proliferation of religious tendencies and a multiplicity of credos. For this reason,it is important to discuss a holistic approximation that allows us to understand and explain the health and the future of religion. The situation described above gets worseif we take a look at the social implications of individual religions which seem to be lessdecisive. These individual religions are more taken into account by humans who needconsolation or the horizons of transcendence. Such phenomenon demands a redesignand an important redefinition of all religions in order to respond coherently to questionsof modern human beings and at the same time to prepare their future. Finally, this documentdiscusses this topic within the national context, as a reality that claims an honest,immediate and sensible work through dialogue involving different institutions of thecountry such as authorities of the nation, educators and ministries in charge as well asthe present churches in Colombia. | es-ES |
