| dc.description | One of the stronger conditions anchored to the foundations of humanity is the one that defines us as spatial beings. At school as in other places where human existence is defined, various expressions which reflect the type of relationship woven by the subjects in their context become evident. These relationships are fraught with meaning, not only because each subject gives the spaces emotional burden, but because the spaces as social constructions, involve meanings that affect the way we interact with them. The research exercise presented here analyses the relationship that students at the Colombo Frances School have woven with the places around their school. For this reason, theoretical approaches are presented to highlight the concept of place as fundamental meaning of geographical space and; therefore, suggest said concept to be meaningfully incorporated to teaching Social Sciences. | en-US |
| dc.description | Una de las condiciones más fuertemente ancladas en los cimientos de lo humano, es la que nos define como seres espaciales. En la escuela como en los demás escenarios donde se concreta la existencia humana, se ponen en evidencia diversas expresiones que dan cuenta del tipo de relación tejida por los sujetos con el contexto. Dichas relaciones están cargadas de sentido, no solo porque cada sujeto dota a los espacios de una carga afectiva, sino porque los espacios en tanto construcciones sociales, comportan significados que afectan la manera en que con ellos nos relacionamos. El ejercicio de investigación que aquí se expone, se ocupa de analizarlas relaciones que han tejido los y las estudiantes con los lugares del Colegio Colombo Francés. Para ello se sustenta en planteamientos teóricos que destacan el concepto de lugar como acepción fundamental del espacio geográfico y, por tanto, sugiere que dicho concepto se incorpore de forma significativa a la enseñanza de las Ciencias Sociales. | es-ES |
