| Descripción : | This article offers an interpretation about the process of occupation of the territory in the frontier between the Chiapas and Oaxaca states, in the south of Mexico. It is an area in which doesn't exist an agreement of boundaries between the mentioned entities and therefore it treats a changeable boundary. Its colonization and the appropriation of the territory is a process included for a long time, whereby there the disputes are very complicated and its solution exceeds the unilateral approaches applied from the power. The survey enables to penetrate in a violent world, because in this areas, aloof and unknown, the state, anyone, suggest clearly its purposes. Nevertheless, it found a ferrous and sometimes ferocious opposition in the Chimalapa agrarian community, defending its communal lands. |
