| Descripción : | O presente artigo traz uma reflexão sobre a Lei 10.639/03, que tornou obrigatório o ensino da história e cultura afro-brasileira nos estabelecimentos de ensino da Educação Básica, no sentido de conhecer a justificativa de sua criação, diretrizes e conceitos fundamentais, bem como uma discussão sobre a relevância desse ensino para o resgate e valorização da contribuição do africano para a formação da sociedade brasileira. Foi feito um estudo se a temática da lei está sendo observada em livros didáticos para o Ensino Fundamental e como os temas são apresentados no material selecionado. Apesar de apresentarem algumas limitações, os resultados mostram que a temática foi observada nos livros didáticos em questão, permitindo concluir que a lei configura-se como um instrumento de luta no combate a ideologias preconceituosas, sendo o livro didático um importante viabilizador dessa lei. This article presents a reflection on Law 10.639 / 03, which made it compulsory to teach Afro-Brazilian history and culture in basic education establishments, in order to know the justification of its creation, fundamental guidelines and concepts, as well as the relevance of this teaching to the rescue and valorization of the contribution of the black to the formation of the Brazilian society. Thus, it was made a study if the thematic of the law is being observed in didactic books of History for Elementary School II and how the themes are presented in the selected material. Although they present some limitations, the results show that the theme was observed in the textbooks in question, allowing to conclude that the law is an instrument of struggle in the fight against racist ideologies, and the textbook is an important enabler of this law. |
