| Descripción : | Aided by wide environmental legislation, as in the state sphere,as in the federal and municipal spheres, the Units ofConservation of Parana State possess a fundamentalimportance in the maintenance of the biodiversity of theterritory and in the conservation of the natural resources andof the environment. The Metropolitan Area of Curitiba (MAC)it is put as one of the most problematic areas in theenvironmental subject due to the high population concentrationand the consequences then current they are countless. Theinstitution of Units of Conservation appears as extenuatingmeasure of that problem, doing with that a significant portionof the territory paranaense is benefitted in environmentalterms. Amparadas por ampla legislação ambiental, tanto na esferaestadual quanto nas esferas federal e municipal, as Unidadesde Conservação do Paraná têm uma importância fundamentalna manutenção da biodiversidade do território e naconservação dos recursos naturais e do meio ambiente. ARegião Metropolitana de Curitiba (RMC) se coloca como umadas áreas mais problemáticas na questão ambiental devidoà alta concentração populacional; as conseqüências daí decorrentessão inúmeras. A instituição de Unidades de Conservaçãosurge como medida atenuante dessa problemática,fazendo com que uma parcela significativa do territórioparanaense seja beneficiada em termos ambientais. |
