| Descripción : | We address in a preliminary fashion the relationship between art and politics in Zapatismo, asking what the role of art is in the movement’s project of political transformation. The paper focuses mainly on the First CompArte for Humanity Festival, an event in which for the first time Zapatista communities shared their artwork with militants and art workers from different parts of the world. Our hypothesis is that a Zapatista political aesthetic is being developed that is capable of building bridges of struggle for diverse forms of recognition. Abordaremos, de modo preliminar, a relação entre arte e política no zapatismo, indagando qual o papel da arte no projeto de transformação política deste movimento social, tendo por base, sobretudo, o I Festival CompArte pela Humanidade, evento no qual pela primeira vez as comunidades zapatistas compartilharam seus fazeres artísticos com militantes e trabalhadores da arte de diversas partes do mundo. Nossa hipótese é que estaria em desenvolvimento uma estética política zapatista capaz de construir pontes de luta para diversas formas de reconhecimento. |
