Descripción :	Esta comunicación indaga sobre la configuración temporal que se encuentra representada en la novela de Edmundo Paz Soldán La mirada de las plantas (2022). En particular, cobra relevancia no solo la configuración temporal, sino que también se pone en juego el análisis, en este texto, de un espacio poco frecuentado en las obras que integran la tradición literaria del país andino-amazónico. En efecto, se trata de exponer las tensiones entre las diversas regiones que integran Bolivia, la expansión de las hegemonías que allí se configuran, las reivindicaciones que comienzan a tomar lugar y el innegable efecto de la cultura global en el campo literario boliviano. La cuestión de la configuración temporal en un sentido de crítica a la temporalidad moderna provoca el cruce y encuentro de elementos del pasado ancestral con la actualidad occidental en el marco del pensamiento colonial. La figuración de lo monstruoso entraña una operación crítica sobre el sujeto y su localización temporal. Al mismo tiempo, se analizan las espacialidades al advertir una configuración del oriente boliviano en relación con el espacio fronterizo brasileño. This communication investigates the temporal configuration that is represented in Edmundo Paz Soldán's novel The View of the Plants (2022). In particular, not only the temporal configuration becomes relevant, but also the analysis, in this text, of a rarely frequented space in the works that make up the literary tradition of the Andean-Amazonian country. In effect, it is about exposing the tensions between the various regions that make up Bolivia, the expansion of the hegemonies that are configured there, the demands that are beginning to take place and the undeniable effect of global culture on the Bolivian literary field. The question of temporal configuration in a sense of criticism of modern temporality provokes the crossing and encounter of elements of the ancestral past with the Western present within the framework of colonial thought. The figuration of the monstrous entails a critical operation on the subject and its temporal location. At the same time, the spatialities are analyzed by noticing a configuration of the Bolivian east in relation to the Brazilian border space.
