| dc.description | RESUMEN: Este artículo se propone reflexionar sobre el papel que cumple el deporte en las sociedades contemporáneas, cuando se enfrenta a modelos económicos y políticos que no siempre consideran el bienestar del ser humano; pero, al mismo tiempo, irrumpe en la iniciativa de los sectores sociales subalternos, los mismos que les dan sus propios usos no solo al deporte sino a esas otras prácticas que por momentos se muestran hostiles y hasta contrarias a su plena realización. Este artículo es fruto de diversos ejercicios académicos que han tenido al deporte como objeto de reflexión, sin perder de vista su articulación con las disciplinas que no solo determinan su rumbo sino que al mismo tiempo son influidas por el primero. En ese encuentro analítico animado por el deporte, se estimó necesario invitar a escena a la comunicación política, incluidos todos los fantasmas que habitan en el contexto de la sociedad globalizada. | - |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This paper analyses the role of sports in contemporary societies, when confronted with economic and political models that not always consider the welfare of human beings. At the same time, the article shares in the initiative of subaltern social sectors, which give them their own uses not only to the sports also to but those other practices that at times are hostile and even contraries to their full realization. This paper is the result of several academic exercises on sports and their articulation with the disciplines that not only determine its future, but at the same time are influenced by the former. In is analysis it became necessary to establish a scene of political communication, including all the ghosts that live in the globalized society. | - |
