| dc.description | RESUMEN: Este artículo analiza las características de las unidades de producción agrícola familiar del municipio de Santo Domingo, Antioquia, a partir de ocho entrevistas realizadas a agricultores por Fabio Luis Jaramillo, estudiante de doctorado en agroecología de la Universidad de Antioquia en el año 2011, en el marco del proyecto “La hacienda Vegas de la Clara como faro agroecológico para el nordeste antioqueño”. Este análisis ofrece elementos de diagnóstico que contribuirán a un rediseño agroecológico de dos fincas con el objetivo de preservar los servicios ambientales de los ecosistemas y mejorar la calidad de vida para los pobladores rurales. Así mismo, se plantea la problemática en términos de oportunidades e innovación, a partir de la conceptualización realizada por Cornelis Prins (2011) para abordar el tema, articulándolo con el análisis socioeconómico y agroecológico del caso particular. | - |
| dc.description | ABSTRACT: This article analysesthe characteristics ofthe unities offamily agricultural production in Santo Domingo, Antioquia. To carry out the socioeconomic analysis, we worked from eight interviews realized in the year 2011 to different families of farmers in the districts of the town council to the investigation project “La hacienda Vegas de la Cara como faro agroecológico para el nordeste antioqueño”, in charge of Fabio Luis Jaramillo, student of the doctorate in agroecology of the University of Antioquia, and in which there will be a contribution to the redesign of two of this farms. As the approach made in that investigation, the proposal of interpretation of data of this work is centered in the possibility of generating projects of agroecology in the region, looking for a change in the agricultural and livestock production for the generation of an environmental equilibrium in the process of working the land, and a better quality of life for the rural settlers. Likewise, we consider the problematic in terms of opportunity and innovation, from the conceptualization realized by Cornelis Prins (2011) for getting into the topic, articulating it with the socioeconomic and agroecologic analysis of the particular case. | - |
